The First Rainbow

After a while, people in the world became so bad that every thought they had was evil.

God was very sad.

But there was one man, Noah, who followed God.

God told Noah to build a big ark.

Then God sent at least two of every animal into the ark.

After that, it rained so much that water covered the earth.

But God kept Noah, his family, and the animals safe in the ark.

God promised that it would never rain that much again.

He put a rainbow in the sky as a reminder of his promise.

Rainbows remind us that God promised not to cover the whole world with water again.
