[ 5. A Tower to Heaven ]
Ge. 11:1-9
When people first lived on the earth, everything was new and all people spoke the same language.
When they learned to make bricks, they became proud.
They tried to build a tower that would reach up to heaven.
God did not want them to build the tower.
To stop them, he changed their languages.
They could not understand each other.
So the building came to a stop.
When a baby babbles, no one understands him.
No one understood the people when they talked, so they called the city Babel.
God wants us to be humble.
